An old peh peh approached me today while I was waiting for 852 at the bus stop outside AJ after the econs paper.
I was alone and there was no one at the bus stop. All the H2 econs students have gone home. I came out quite late because I have to look for the CPE n patrick lim regarding my IC and this is the 1st time I realise that patrick lim has a fatherly look, he found my IC! ...hahaz...
Yah at first I was quite scared when the old peh peh walked towards me n said something very very soft which I later figured out that he was actually asking me for money to take MRT. And this reminds me of the do-you-have-a-$1-coin-or-2-$1-coins-? incident last year. At IMH for SL project. Remember? O_o I know I'm stupid but at least I paid 1 buck to learn a lesson. And somemore that old peh peh asked for 2 bucks only which I think is reasonable to travel from yio chu kang to tampines so I gave him my 2 bucks. I will be quite upset if he is a conman, but anyway I hope that 2 bucks is enough for him to pay for train fares. (:
And yah it looks like I cant get to watch Jay chou's concert again next year. Haiz...sad... Can you believe it? the tickets are sold out in just 1 week! and for 2 days somemore!. What's more infuriating is that some cunning, despicable people are selling his tickets for 600 bucks on ebay! So annoying. But demand is inelastic. To maximise profits of course raise price lah...arghhhh...and this captures all the consumer surplus and reduces consumer satisfaction...yada yada... Sorry, too much econs...hahaz... Nvm it's okay, it's only jay chou...=P
