Today...Wei Ming came to AJ for lecture.
hmm...weird right? According to him, he came to AJ to catch up with what he had missed in TJ.
Well I think that's commendable. Isnt it?
Yah after Physics lecture, Me, Wei Ming, Cin Li n Jillian went J8 to eat.
Then we took turns to call brother tianshi to join us.
He was still sleeping at that time...grr...
So we went window shopping and sat down to eat something.
We chatted for quite long...glad that everyone was doing fine =]
At around 1 plus, we left J8 and went on our separate ways.
I took to dhoby ghout...went to plaza sing.

Ok from here onwards, you must read, the above you can ignore...hahaz
Just wanna share with you what I saw today at Yamaha, plaza sing.
Initially I wanted to look at those instruments but of course I have no intention to buy.
Buying those instruments will cost me a bomb. But I really like instruments...you know...wang4 mei2 zhi2 ke3...hahaz
Yah then I came across this silent piano, an acoustic piano with modern technology.
You just have to put on this earphone and the music sounds like as if it is played in a concert hall, without any external mixture of noises, the music just sounds so pure and really can express your feelings in notes. That's the kind of piano that I am looking for...but again, it's wang4 mei2 zhi2 ke3.
Then a little boy came and played on the YUS5 series Yamaha piano which is worth 14000bucks. These YUS series pianoes cater to the needs and demands of the professionals.
So this little boy, sat on the seat. And the next moment, I got a shock.







The boy's fingers started dancing on the keys. Impressive!!!
I went to chat with the little boy's father.
They were actually from Indonesia.
The child prodigy's father asked me how long I've been playing the piano to reach diploma.
I replied him 10 years. He was stunned.
Then I asked him back the same qn "how long has your son been learning to get to this beyond-the-diploma standard?" He replied 5 mths. Stunned. ( for your info, the child prodigy is only 9 years old) So I stood there and listened for 1 whole hour. The Mozart no.2 played the whole of Chopin's sonata 2n 3 from his memory. Stunned. ( for your info, my only impressive piece is Chopin's etudes op 1. which took me 8 months to master and memorise.) The Mozart no.2 can master whole of chopin's sonatas in 2 weeks time according to his father. 1 week to master the pieces and 1 week to memorise. Chopin's sonata is like 20 plus pages lor. Stunned. The way Mozart no.2 played those pieces really show that his foundation and techniques are brilliant. A good pianist is one who really can present the piece well by playing music from his heart, in other words, with feel, colours and expressions. And he did that. Impressive. My heart melted. My whole body became nuah. Stunned.
Then I continued to chat with his father. He told me he practise 8 hrs a day, and you know what? He skipped from beginner all the way to beyond-the-diploma level, I think on par with masters. And he went to play for the ministers during the elections period.
All in all, I had a wonderful day today. =] Free concert =]
